  • Why can't I see some pictures, or why do they show up as an X?
The reason some pictures may not show up is typically due to the use of older internet browser versions that do not support all image file types. An example is Internet Explorer 6 and below not supporting .PNG image files, which results in a box with an X being displayed.

This issue can be easily fixed by updating your internet browser to the newest version or by choosing an internet browser that supports such files. You can do this by visiting one of the following links for the most common browsers:

  • How are Political flyers, stickers, buttons....etc funded?
Funding for Political material comes solely from the Voluntary Community Action Program (V-CAP).

By law Union dues can't be used to support any federal candidates, and in an ever increasing number of states, any candidate for public office. Our only means of monetary support for many labor-endorsed candidates is voluntary political contributions that are put into the International Union's political action fund, UAW V-CAP.
